Designed for students to be able to explore, celebrate, and express how they belong in a neurologically diverse world. Students will be using clay, hand building and the wheel to express their unique brains through projects with a neurodiversity scope. ALL students are welcome, whether they identify as neurodivergent, neurotypical or have no idea what that means. Join teacher Nathan and one another to embrace how each of our brains, creativity work in a way that is as unique as we are. 60 min

Adult Ceramics Adult Ceramics

Adult Ceramics | Ages 16+

Make space for yourself each week and let clay be the pause. This weekly ceramics class is designed as a restorative, self-directed studio experience—where you can slow down, follow your curiosity, and work at your own pace with supportive guidance nearby.

You’ll have the freedom to explore wheel throwing and hand building, combine slabs with thrown forms, and develop functional or sculptural pieces that reflect your personal interests. Instructors are present to offer weekly demonstrations, technical support, and feedback when you want it—while still honoring uninterrupted making time.

This class is less about following a single project and more about showing up consistently, building a creative habit, and sharing in the creative process with new friends.

Includes all tools, firings, glazes, and 11 lbs of clay per month

Explore Ages 6-8

Explore Ceramic classes will focus on building on previous skills and diving into clay hand building techniques such as, principles of slab, coil, surface design, glazing, and firing to create one of a kind artwork including figures, cups, and seasonal projects tailored to students interests. 60 min

Elevate Ceramics Elevate Ceramics

Elevate Ages 8-16

Elevate Ceramic classes will dive into the exciting world of functional and sculptural pottery as students learn fundamentals of working with clay. Using the pottery wheel and hand building, we will make decorative figures and functional items such as plates and bowls. Students will have a demonstration of new skills each class and structured work time to create their own ideas with instructor support. 75 min

Alternative Firing & Raku Alternative Firing & Raku

Alternative Firing & Raku Ages 16+
Take your ceramics practice beyond the electric kiln in this ongoing Friday night class focused on raku and alternative firing techniques. Designed as a continuous series, this class alternates weekly between making and firing, allowing students to develop intentional forms and then participate in the full firing process from start to finish.

This course will alternate between Making and Firing classes.
Making Weeks

Create forms designed specifically for raku and alternative firing using hand building and/or the wheel, with guidance on clay bodies, surface prep, and process planning.

Firing Weeks
Fire your work in the raku kiln and participate in hands-on firing and post-firing techniques, exploring rotating methods like glaze raku, naked raku, horsehair, obvara, foil saggar, and barrel firing. The possibilities are endless!
