Cartooning 1 Cartooning 1

Ages 8 - 13
Create zany cartoon characters to drop into a story or make a statement. We will distort, exaggerate, embellish, add action, drama and humor. Cartoonists will learn the basics of expression drawing, line quality, constructing from the imagination and drawing from life. We will explore space and make our images pop. Media will include pencil, paper, markers, ink and water color. 60 min

Fiber Art Fiber Art

Ages 8 - 13

Create one of a kind characters and sculptures through felting, weaving, crochet, and yarn craft. You will learn to sculpt in fiber, roving felt into shapes and forms to produce anything you can imagine, from favorite characters to animals or other fantastic creatures and seasonal pieces. 60 min

Digital Art 1 Digital Art 1

Ages 8-13
Our digital creation class will teach you all the basics of Procreate & other app based creation on the iPad. Understand how to use the vast toolkit such as layers, brushes, color wheels, and perspective available to you in the Procreate application. Leave class with a better understanding of digital painting and portraiture. iPad, pen, & Procreate provided by studio for each student to use during class, if you have your own Procreate setup from home, you are welcome to bring it too! 60 min (Prerequisite 2D Foundations)

Ages 8 - 13
Focusing on elements of line, shape, color, and value while discovering students personal artistic style. Students will be taught skills and techniques unique to multiple paint mediums, giving them control over their chosen medium and allowing them to fully express their creative vision. 60 min (Prerequisite 2D Foundations)

2D Foundations 6-Week Sessions 2D Foundations 6-Week Sessions

Ages 8-16
Prerequisite for all Level 1 and Advanced 2D Art courses
Complete one 6-week Intro to 2D Art session before enrolling in weekly classes.

Build a strong artistic foundation while exploring the essential skills every artist needs. Through engaging drawing and painting projects, students will learn to see like an artist as they develop confidence with shape and form, light and shadow, perspective, color theory, composition, and creative problem-solving.

Advanced Fine Art Studio Advanced Fine Art Studio

Ages 8 - 13

Designed for students who have completed Drawing 1 or Painting 1, this advanced class helps artists take their skills further through both drawing and painting. Students may focus on their preferred medium or explore both while refining observation, composition, perspective, shading, color theory, lighting, brushwork, and mixed media techniques. Through guided projects and personalized feedback, artists will build confidence, develop their own creative style, and create more ambitious, portfolio-worthy artwork. 60min.

Advanced Digital Illustration Studio Advanced Digital Illustration Studio

Ages 8 - 13

Designed for students who have completed Character Design or Procreate 1, this advanced class helps artists take their ideas further through character design and illustration using both traditional and digital media. Students may continue developing their skills with paper and pencil or explore Procreate as they refine anatomy, shape language, composition, color, layers, brushes, and digital painting techniques. Creating original characters and receiving personalized feedback to strengthen their unique artistic style. iPads, Apple Pencil, and Procreate are provided for in-class use, though students are welcome to bring their own devices. 60 min

Elevate Enrichment Elevate Enrichment

Ages 8-13
Join our daytime Elevate course for homeschool students! This class will cover a wide variety of mediums including ceramics, wheel throwing, painting, and fiber arts. The students will get to suggest projects, art mediums, and be part of the lesson planning process. 75 min.

Elevate Art students will use their knowledge of multiple art mediums as they take interdisciplinary skills to a new level by combining them to create art projects that are truly unique. Elevate Ages 8-16

Elevate Ceramic classes will dive into the exciting world of functional and sculptural pottery as students learn fundamentals of working with clay. Using the pottery wheel and hand building, we will make decorative figures and functional items such as plates and bowls. Students will have a demonstration of new skills each class and structured work time to create their own ideas with instructor support. 75 min
