2D Foundations Workshop 2D Foundations Workshop

Skip our 2D Foundations weekly class (8wk course) and take our two day workshop instead! Students expand their understanding of drawing and painting concepts by learning about shape and form, light and shadow, perspective, color theory, and composition. All students will be allowed to move on to our level 1 drawing and painting classes once completed.

Procreate Workshop Procreate Workshop

Our new digital creation workshop will teach you all the basics of Procreate on the iPad. Understand how to use the vast toolkit such as layers, brushes, color wheels, and perspective available to you in the Procreate application. Leave class with a better understanding of digital painting and a portraiture. iPad, pen, & Procreate provided by studio for each student to use during class, if you have your own Procreate setup from home, you are welcome to bring it!

Sun Prints - Cyanotype Wkshop Sun Prints - Cyanotype Wkshop

Make beautiful prints using just sunlight and water! "Sun Prints" (aka Cyanotypes) are a photographic process that is both simple and extremely flexible; making it beginner friendly and full of endless possibilities. This process creates beautiful blue and white images with through the use of light and shadows alone. In this workshop you will learn how to create a cyanotype on a variety of surfaces with a variety of seasonally themed items to make beautiful and unique prints.

Handmade Paper & Book Making Workshop Handmade Paper & Book Making Workshop

Create your own handmade book in this new mixed-media workshop! On day one of this workshop, we will learn how to make our own paper from recyclables. Day two is focused on learning collage techniques to create a personalized book cover and bookbinding methods to bring all of our work together. At the end of the workshop, each student will come home with their own handmade book that they can carry with them through their next creative adventure!

Cancelation Policy - Reservation changes or cancelations made at least 5 days before start of program will receive studio credit for 100% of tuition paid. Reservation changes or cancelations made within 4 days of programs start will not receive studio credit unless student’s space can be filled. * For example: We must be notified by Wednesday if your child is scheduled for programming the following Monday to receive full studio credit. We do not provide refunds back to your payment card.
