Into the Fire: Raku Hand building
This specialty alternative-firing workshop is a two-day hands-on experience focused entirely on handbuilt ceramic forms. You will create multiple pieces using techniques like pinch, coil, and slab construction, with an emphasis on form, texture, and intentional design.
After the workshop, students can sign up for an included firing session later in the summer, where their pieces will be glazed and fired to completion in our outdoor Raku kiln. Raku firing is a fast-paced, dramatic process, that students will get to watch their pieces pulled from the kiln with tongs while glowing hot orange! Raku produces bold colors and metallic finishes, making every piece completely unique. Students must be at least 8 years old to participate. All work will go home with students the same night of the firing.
$215 includes 2 days of creating - and a following community raku firing!

Creative Creature in Clay
Creative Creature is all about imagination, creativity, and having fun bringing wild ideas to life in clay. In this class, you will design and build one or two unique hand built creatures, starting with a pinch pot, slab, or extruded base and then adding expressive details to make your creature truly your own.
You can invent your creature entirely from your imagination or roll the dice and use a creature-parts generator for playful, unexpected inspiration. This class encourages experimentation, storytelling, and creative freedom—perfect for artists who love fantasy, problem-solving, and creating something no one else has ever made.

My Mind in Clay: Boxes
This workshop celebrates neurodiversity and gives you a creative space to express how your brain works through clay. In this class, you will design and build a lidded ceramic box, decorating each side with textures, forms, symbols, and imagery that represent how you think, feel, and experience the world.
You will explore the idea that there is no single “right” way for a brain to work—every brain works uniquely, influencing how we see, think, and make art. This class is open to everyone and is designed to be a safe, supportive environment where your ideas and perspectives are honored. When finished, you’ll leave with a meaningful ceramic box that holds significance both creatively and personally.
