Jars: Lidded Forms & Containers

In this workshop, you will focus on creating functional jars and containers using the pottery wheel, with the option to explore hand building techniques as well. On the first day, you’ll throw several closed forms or build a hand built pinch-pot sphere to use as the base for a jar. On the second day, you’ll trim your pieces and add custom knobs, handles, and lids, turning your forms into finished, usable containers.
